Precautions for product storage

EMI-RFIFiltersshouldbestoredinnormalworkingenvironments.Whilethefiltersthemselvesarequiterobustinother

environments,solderabilitywillbedegradedbyexposuretohightemperatures,highhumidity,corrosiveatmospheres,and

long term storage.

KEMETrecommendsthatmaximumstoragetemperaturenotexceed40°Candmaximumstoragehumiditynotexceed70%

relativehumidityandatmospheresshouldbefreeofchlorineandsulfurbearingcompounds.Temperaturefluctuations

shouldbeminimizedtoavoidcondensationontheparts.Also,avoidstoragenearstrongmagneticfieldsasthismight

magnetizetheproduct.

Foroptimizedsolderability,EMI-RFIFilters’stockshouldbeusedpromptly,preferablywithin6monthsofreceipt.

Export Control

For customers in Japan

Forproductswhicharecontrolleditemssubjecttothe“ForeignExchangeandForeignTradeLaw”ofJapan,theexport

licensespecifiedbythelawisrequiredforexport.

For customers outside Japan

EMI-RFIFiltersshouldnotbeusedorsoldforuseinthedevelopment,production,stockpiling,orutilizationofany

conventionalweaponsormass-destructiveweapons(nuclearweapons,chemicalorbiologicalweapons,ormissiles),orany

other weapons.
