converter to be interrupted long enough to cause a graceful shutdown and restart of the converter. Also, the reverse voltage protection

featureofthe-Tfilterisrequiredtoprotecttheconverter(butnotthefilter)fromnegativepolaritywaveform.

**ForthiswaveformataLevel4andabove,externaltransientsuppressorsofsufficientenergyratingmustbeaddedbetweenthe

filter’s input power pins and its case to keep the common-mode transient input voltage below +800V.
