Introduction

This document provides a description and details on using the Atmel

uation board for Li-Ion/NiMH Battery Management applications. The evaluation kit

consists of two boards:

• Evaluation board with Atmel ATA6870 and external MOSFETs for charge balancing

• Controller board with the Atmel microcontroller ATmega128

For a comfortable control of the evaluation board, a graphical user interface is

available.
