Exposure to any Absolute Maximum Rating condition for extended periods may affect device reliability and lifetime. Note 2: Absolute maximum voltage at VCC, RUN, PWM, TGEN, BSTIN/ BKLED– pins is 40V for non-repetitive one second transients and 30V for continuous operation. Note 3: The LTM8042E/LTM8042E-1 are guaranteed to meet performance specifications from 0°C to 125°C ambient. Specifications over the full –40°C to 125°C internal operating temperature range are assured by design, characterization and correlation with statistical process controls. Note that the maximum internal temperature is determined by specific operating conditions in conjunction with board layout, the rated package thermal resistance and other environmental factors. Note 4: This device includes overtemperature protection that is intended to protect the device during momentary overload conditions. Junction temperature will exceed the maximum internal operating temperature when overtemperature protection is active. Continuous operation above the specified maximum operating junction temperature may impair device reliability. |
