All are based on the MPC7450 RISC microprocessor and are architecturally very similar. The MPC7448 is identical to the MPC7447A, but the MPC7448 supports 1 Mbyte of L2 cache with ECC and the use of dynamic frequency switching (DFS) with more bus-to-core ratios. Table 1.
