The leads should be shorted together or the device placed in conductive foam during storage or handling to prevent electrostatic damage to the MOS gates. (2) All electrical characteristics having room temperature limits are tested during production with TA = 25°C. All hot and cold limits are specified by correlating the electrical characteristics to process and temperature variations and applying statistical process control. (3) VCC provides bias for the internal gate drive and control circuits. Device thermal limitations limit external loading.
