The recommended range of the resistance (Rosc) for setting the oscillation frequency is Rosc = 120 kΩ to 510 kΩ (fOSC = 286 kHz to 1.133 MHz). However, the oscillation frequency is in the range of typical values when an ideal resistor is externally connected, so actually the fluctuation of the IC ( ±10%) must be considered. *2. The recommended range of the resistance (RDuty/Rosc) for setting the maximum duty is RDuty/Rosc = 0.5 to 4.1 (MaxDuty = 47 to 88.5%). However, the maximum duty is in the range of typical values when an ideal resistor is externally connected, so actually the fluctuation of the IC ( ±5%) must be considered. *3. The short-circuit protection time can be set by the external capacitor, and the maximum set value by the external capacitor is unlimited when an ideal case is assumed. But, use CSP = approximately 0.47 μF as a target maximum value due to the need to consider the discharge time of the capacitor. |
