General Description
TheHT7939Aisahighefficiencyboostconverter
fordrivingmultipleWhiteLEDsusingcurrentmode
operation.Thedeviceisdesignedtodriveupto39
WhiteLEDsfroma5Vpowersupply.TheWhite
LEDcurrentissetupusinganexternalcurrentsetting
resistor,whichhasalowfeedbackvoltageof0.2Vto
minimiseresistorpowerlossesandthusimproving
efficiency.
TheHT7939Ahasadimmingfrequencyofupto
200kHz,whichhasexcellentlinearperformance
overthisdimmingfrequencyrange.Theovervoltage
functionpreventsdevicedamagebyturningoffthe
convertershouldtheLEDloadbecomeopencircuit.
Thedevicealsoincludesovercurrentprotection,over
temperatureprotectionandundervoltageprotection
preventingdamagetothedeviceshouldtheoutputbe
overloaded.
