Structure Thedatamemoryisdividedintofourbanks,Bank0~3.TheBank0issubdividedintotwosections, thefirstoftheseisanareaofRAM,knownastheSpecialFunctionDataMemory.Herearelocated registerswhicharenecessaryforcorrectoperationofthedevice.Manyoftheseregisterscanbe readfromandwrittentodirectlyunderprogramcontrol,however,someremainprotectedfromuser manipulation.ThesecondareaofDataMemoryisreservedforgeneralpurposeuse.Alllocations withinthisareaarereadandwriteaccessibleunderprogramcontrol. ThegeneralpurposedatamemoryBank1andBank2arededicatedfortheLCDandSinePattern functionsrespectivelywhiletheBank3isusedforgeneralpurposedatamemory.Thetotalcapacity ofgeneralpurposedatamemory,availablefordesigner,is256bytes,composedbyBank0and Bank4.TheaccompanyingtableillustratestheDataMemoryarrangement.
