input and output for Basic insulation. This issue should be considered if any copper

traces are on the top side of the user’s board. Note that the ferrite cores are consid-

10) The flanged pins are designed to permit surface mount soldering (avoiding

the wave soldering process) through the use of the flanged pin-in-paste tech-

nique.

11) M3 screws used to bolt unit’s baseplate to other surfaces such as a heatsink must not

exceed 0.100” (2.54mm) depth below the baseplate surface.

12) Applied torque per screw should not exceed 6 in-lb (0.7 Nm).
