It offers a – ±3% Charge Current Accuracy constant-frequency synchronous PWM controller with • Integration high accuracy charge current and voltage regulation, charge preconditioning, termination, and charge – Internal Loop Compensation status monitoring, – Internal Soft Start The bq24600 charges the battery in three phases: • Safety preconditioning, constant current, and constant – Input Over-Voltage Protection voltage. Charge is terminated when the current – Battery Thermistor Sense Hot/Cold Charge reaches a minimum level. An internal charge timer provides a safety backup.
