High Power LED Driver

The diode D is used in the buck converter to help the inductor release the energy during the NDMOS off-

time to supply the ILED to the LED string. The reverse breakdown voltage of the diode should be greater

than two times of VIN and the average current through the diode should be 2 x ILED or greater.
